NDT Technician — Level 2 Ultrasonic & Eddy Current

A well-established MRO facility based in Cardiff is seeking an NDT Technician certified to PCN Level 2 (or equivalent) in Ultrasonic Testing and Eddy Current Testing to join its expanding base maintenance team. The facility carries out heavy maintenance checks on narrow-body commercial aircraft for a range of airline customers and is experiencing significant growth driven by increased demand for base maintenance capacity across Europe.

You will be responsible for carrying out non-destructive inspections on aircraft structural components including fuselage skin panels, landing gear components, and engine nacelle structures. You will work to approved maintenance data, complete accurate inspection records, and report findings to the base maintenance quality team. Training on additional NDT methods (penetrant testing, magnetic particle inspection) and aircraft-specific familiarisation training will be available for the right candidate.

Candidates must hold current PCN Level 2 certification (or ASNT equivalent) in UT and ET as a minimum. Aviation industry NDT experience is preferred; candidates with strong industrial NDT backgrounds are encouraged to apply and will be considered for a supported transition programme.
