B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer — A320 Family
A major European airline operating a fleet of over 80 Airbus A320 Family aircraft is seeking an experienced B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer for its line maintenance operation at Hamburg Airport. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a highly competitive salary, comprehensive shift allowances, and relocation support for candidates based outside the Hamburg region.
Working within a structured line maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out and certifying scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on A320, A321 and A319 aircraft. The fleet is primarily CFM56 and IAE V2500 powered, and OJT/authorisations for both engine types are available for the right candidate. Your duties will include pre-flight, transit and daily inspections, rectification of defects, and technical support to operations — working across shifts in a high-tempo, safety-first environment.
Candidates must hold a valid EASA Part-66 B1.1 licence with A320 Family type ratings. A minimum of three years post-licence experience in commercial aviation line maintenance is required. Proficiency in English is essential; German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory. The company provides a structured induction programme, ongoing training, and a clear path to senior certifying staff roles.
